Robert “Bob” Meseck – Skipper
Bob’s Scouting journey began when he was just 13 years old, sparking a lifelong commitment to youth development. Today, he proudly serves as the Skipper of Ship 243, leading and inspiring our Sea Scouts as they learn to navigate both the open water and their own futures.

Keenan Gorringe - Vice President

Kenan – Vice President, First Mate, & Chief Engineer
Kenan wears many hats for Ship 243, serving as our Vice President, First Mate, and Chief Engineer. Onboard, he is responsible for keeping our historic training vessel running smoothly and teaching our Scouts the technical, hands-on engineering skills required to maintain a complex ship. 

Pat Geiger -Secretary

Pat serves as the Backup Captain for Ship 243, bringing a lifetime of maritime industry expertise to our crew. Deeply passionate about the sea, Pat generously donates his personal time to mentor and train our Scouts. Through his hands-on instruction, our crew learns the vital technical ins and outs of shipboard operations, preparing them for safe and successful voyages.
